Josh Bock, M.S.

Life sometimes places us in situations that we feel we may not be able to handle alone. As your therapist it would be my honor join you in navigating the challenges you face. I am registered psychology associate working under Dr. Malouf’s supervision and am currently enrolled in a doctoral program at Loyola University.

My approach integrates principles of Client Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.  This means that I utilize various tools tailored to address the unique challenges you may be facing. Therapy with me is a collaboration that allows us each to share our expertise; mine in psychology and your expertise on yourself! This philosophy shapes our therapy space as we collaborate on what type of environment works best for you, whether that be more structured or free-flowing. This approach means that sessions can range from activities that target specific behaviors to discussions to help us better understand your experience.  Similarly, I always welcome your feedback on our process and the progress of our therapeutic relationship.

After all, therapy is not simply the shared space in which our discussions take place, rather it is a decision to embark on a journey of healing, growth and self-discovery, together. It is my firmest belief that everyone is capable of change. My role is to help you explore what that looks like for you and to make sure you have everything you need in order to reach your destination. Together we can help you to live a happier and more fulfilled life.
